Founder of "Towards Functional Families"
She is a certified psychiatrist with an M.B.B.CH from the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University, in addition to a Master's degree in Psychiatry and Neurology from Kasr Al Ainy School of Medicine. She also holds a Clinical Psychiatry Diploma from Al-Abbassia Mental Health Hospital.
She began her professional journey at El-Rokawy Mental Health Hospital, followed by positions at Al-Abbassia Mental Health Hospital and Behman Psychiatric Hospital, where she gained extensive clinical experience in mental health and psychotherapy.
Driven by her passion for strengthening family systems, she founded Towards Functional Families, an initiative dedicated to supporting healthy parenting and sound marital relationships through specialized programs designed for different family members.
Since 2009, she has led mothers' groups that have grown into a dynamic community. Over the years, these groups evolved into a team of mothers who now facilitate and train other mothers, creating a sustainable cycle of peer education and empowerment.
She has delivered tailored lectures and workshops for many major organizations and NGOs, including UN Women, UNFPA, and the National Council for Women. In addition, she regularly lectures teachers and parents in French and English schools across Cairo.
